The following individuals will be recognized for their outstanding contributions to the field of recovery in Rhode Island: Mr. Paul MacDonald - James H. Ottmar Award Ms. Suzanne Swanson - President’s Award Mr. Patrick McEneaney - The Bronze Key Award Ms. Dorothy M. Bianco, Ph.D. - Community Service Award Senator John J. Employees at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island recently donated almost $850 for The Rhode Island Council on Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependence through their Coins for a Cause employee contribution program. All Blue Cross employees are invited to nominate local nonprofit organizations for consideration in the program and each month, employees participate in an online vote to select two organizations to receive the contributions for the month.Over 70% of Blue Cross employees participate in the Coins for a Cause program, which raises close to $24,000 annually for local nonprofit organizations.
