Here at the Council, we offer information and referrals for substance abuse treatment services for individuals and concerned others within RI. We also offer self-help meeting times and information for all self-help groups and other support services. We have a toll free, confidential service manned with trained referral specialist available 24 hours a day.

We hold special events; participate in Alcohol Awareness Month activities, Media Campaigns, Recovery Month and other health promotion activities. At these events, we distribute literature on alcoholism and other drug addictions including special literature for parents, teenagers and women. Our literature is current and we regularly obtain updated information and materials from the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT), the National Council on Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependence (NCADD) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA).  Literature can also be sent to your home!
